Abraham Conlon and Adrienne Lo, the co-owners of the Chicago restaurant Fat Rice, will be in Austin this week to promote their new book, “The Adventures of Fat Rice,” a cookbook about Macau, the autonomous region just outside of Hong Kong that has its own blend of Chinese, Portuguese, Malaysian and Indian cuisines.

On Friday at 7 p.m., they’ll talk at a book signing event at BookPeople, followed by a five-course guest chef dinner at 6 p.m. Sunday at Josephine House, 1601 Waterston. (You can buy tickets to that dinner at josephineofaustin.com.)

From 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, the authors will be hanging at Métier Cook’s Supply, 1805 S. First St., for a cocktail hour book signing.
